GSM graduation ceremony 2019

Graduate School of Management has held its 2019 graduation ceremony in a grand style. This year's graduation, which occurred at Hotel Belle Cote saw a hundred and thirty-nine graduates passing out in various programs and levels. The graduates came from ten countries in the continent of Africa namely: CAMEROON, GHANA, GUINEA, COTE D'IVOIRE, MALI, NIGERIA, SENEGAL, RWANDA, BURKINA-FASO, and TOGO.

Out of the 139 graduates, 35 graduated with a Master of Business Administration with options in (International Business, Finance, Human Resource Management, Marketing, and Project Management). Bachelor of Business Administration graduates were 56 with options in (Business Management, Accounting & Finance, and Marketing Management), and finally 48 graduated with Licence Professionelle.

The theme for this year's graduation was "Sustaining a vibrant sector through quality training." The theme was chosen to reflect the need to improve human capital in emerging markets like Cote d'Ivoire. The guest speaker in the person of Mr Micheal Okyere Duah, HR Manager of Unilever Plantations, Eastern Africa reiterated the need for African youth to spend their time learning to acquire useful knowledge relevant to the job market. He called on educational institutions to collaborate with industry to bridge the gap between industry and academia.
