GSM graduation ceremony 2020

Graduate School of Management, Abidjan, on the 10th of April 2021, held its 2020 graduation ceremony to award deserving students in various levels and studies. The 2020 graduation ceremony was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic that engulfed the world, making it impossible or difficult for public gatherings.

In all, 131 students graduated in MBA, BBA, and LP. Out of the total graduates, females dominated with 82 while the males are 49. The female population among the graduates was 62.59%. The graduates came from eight nationalities, including Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana, Nigeria, Togo, Niger, Cameroon, Burkina Faso, and Liberia. The various Programs were Accounting & Finance, Business Management, Marketing Management, Communication, International Business, Human Resource Management, and Project Management. For the first time, three students obtained a first-class with the rest obtaining second-class and third-class.

In his welcome address, the Vice President touched on the impact of COVID-19 on the continent's economic fortunes and, for that matter, challenged the graduates to rise and be counted to help solve the numerous problems the continent is facing. He reiterated that youth are endowed with talents and skills that can propel the continent to realize its aspirations.

He urged the graduates to utilize the knowledge they have acquired throughout the Graduate School of Management training to make the needed change in their respective endeavors.
