GSM is honoured to welcome a high-level delegation from the Project Management Institute (PMI) Côte d’Ivoire Chapter, led by Mr. ADOU Simon, President of PMI-CI.
It was also an occasion to introduce Mrs. Adeola Akande, PMI’s Community Head for Sub-Saharan Africa, who is on a special courtesy visit to the institution.
The visit aimed to foster collaboration between PMI and GSM and introduce students to the transformative opportunities available through PMI membership.
Mrs. Akande, in her address, emphasised the growing importance of project management in today’s business landscape and encouraged students to take advantage of PMI’s global platform to gain professional exposure, mentorship, and career development.
Mr. ADOU announced that GSM is the first university in Côte d’Ivoire to have formed the PMI student club, and it should capitalise on this to enjoy the full benefits of the student club.
Dr. TANDOH, the Rector of GSM, thanked PMI-CI for collaborating with GSM.
